My fiance and I were on a commuter flight from Birmingham to Pensacola 
last summer that was uneventful until we were on approach into Pensacola. 
Our slow, gradual descent was interrupted by a stomach-in-your-throat, 
rollercoaster drop of God knows how many hundred feet.

We finally level off and everyone is sitting in the silence that usually 
follows a near death experience, when a delighted toddler seated in front 
of us sings out, "Hey! That was neat! Can we do it again?"
